BIS Certified (IS: 13592): Conforms fully to Bureau of Indian Standards requirements for dimensions, impact resistance, and structural durability.
Jointing System Options: Available in Ringfit (push-fit rubber ring joint for thermal expansion tolerance) and Solfit (solvent cement joint for permanent bonds).
Smooth Inner Surface: Extremely low inner roughness prevents scale buildup, clogging, and flow restriction.
Weather & UV Resistant: Specially formulated for long-term outdoor exposure without color degradation or brittleness.
Corrosion & Chemical Protection: Immune to rust, galvanic corrosion, and standard household chemicals or acids found in wastewater.
Lightweight & High Tensile Strength: Easy to transport, handle, and install while maintaining strong resistance to external soil pressure and impact loads.
Supreme Soil, Waste, and Rainwater (S.W.R.) Pipes are engineered for efficient, leak-free waste management and drainage systems. Manufactured according to Indian Standard IS: 13592, these uPVC pipes provide superior resistance to domestic chemicals, soil-borne elements, and UV radiation. They are available in two standard types:
Type A: Designed for rainwater collection and building ventilation systems.
Type B: Built with thicker walls for soil and waste discharge applications.
Supreme Solfit S.W.R. pipes use a permanent solvent-cement (pasting) jointing method designed according to Indian Standard IS: 13592. This self-extinguishing uPVC jointing method creates a cold-welded, monolithic seal that prevents leakage in concealed, underground, and non-accessible soil, waste, and rainwater installations.
PASTING (SOLVENT CEMENT) INSTALLATION STEPS
1. Cut & Square: Cut the pipe perpendicular to its axis using a fine-toothed saw. Deburr and chamfer the cut edge at approximately 15^\circ to prevent wiping off the solvent during assembly.
2. Clean Surfaces: Wipe the pipe spigot end and socket interior with a clean, dry cloth to remove dirt, moisture, or grease.
3. Apply Solvent Cement: Apply an even, thin layer of Supreme uPVC Solvent Cement inside the socket, followed by a medium, uniform layer onto the pipe spigot.
4. Push & Hold: Immediately push the spigot fully into the socket with a slight quarter-turn twist to distribute the paste evenly. Hold firmly in place for 20–30 seconds.
5. Wipe Excess: Clean off any surplus solvent cement squeeze-out outside the joint. Allow the joint to cure undisturbed for at least 24 hours before testing.
KEY ADVANTAGES OF PASTING SYSTEM
Leak-Proof Performance: Solvent welding fuses the two plastics together at a molecular level, forming a single rigid unit.
Compact Footprint: Socket design requires less space than rubber-ring push-fit joints, making it ideal for narrow duct chases and indoor wall chases.
Tamper-Resistant: Once set, the permanent chemical bond cannot be displaced or loosened by vibration, rodent activity, or line clearing tools.
Manufacturer Warranty: Supreme S.W.R. pipes come with a standard limited warranty covering manufacturing defects and structural failures under normal operating conditions. The warranty does not cover damages arising from improper installation, extreme over-pressurization beyond design limits, or improper handling during transport.
Return Policy: Unused, standard-length pipes in original factory condition can be returned within 1 days of purchase (depending on distributor terms). Custom-cut pipes or units showing solvent residue are non-returnable.
Q1: What is the difference between Type A and Type B Supreme S.W.R. pipes?
A: Type A pipes have thinner walls suited for vent lines and rainwater discharge. Type B pipes feature thicker walls, making them resilient under heavy discharge loads for soil and waste removal.
Q2: Which jointing method is better—Ringfit or Solfit?
A: Ringfit uses rubber gaskets that allow for expansion/contraction, ideal for long multi-story vertical stacks. Solfit uses solvent cement, providing a rigid, permanent bond preferred for compact indoor layout sections.
Q3: Can Supreme S.W.R. pipes be used for hot water drainage?
A: Yes, they are designed to handle standard domestic waste discharges, including warm/hot water temperatures typically drained from kitchens and bathrooms.
