The Hole Repairing Coupler is designed to fix a localised leak, crack or accidental hole in an existing Supreme Lifeline CPVC pipe run. After the damaged section is cut out, the coupler is solvent-welded over the repair point, restoring a leak-free, pressure-rated joint without needing to replace the full pipe run.
• Q: Do I need to cut out the damaged section of pipe before fitting the coupler?
A: Yes, the damaged or leaking section should be cut out cleanly and the pipe ends deburred before the repair coupler is solvent-welded into place.
• Q: Is the repair as strong as the original pipe joint?
A: When installed correctly with CPVC solvent cement and adequate cure time, the repaired joint is rated to perform in line with standard solvent-weld joints in the system.
• Q: Can it be used on both hot and cold water lines?
A: Yes, it is manufactured from the same CPVC compound as the rest of the Supreme Lifeline range and is suitable for both.
