Q: Is MR grade plywood waterproof?
A: MR stands for Moisture Resistant. It withstands atmospheric humidity and seasonal moisture, making it perfect for dry indoor areas like bedrooms, living rooms, and office furniture.
Q: Can I use MR plywood for kitchen cabinets?
A: For areas directly exposed to water or steam (like sink cabinets), BWP 710 grade is recommended. For wall cabinets away from water, MR grade is widely used.
Q: How is termite protection guaranteed?
A: The plies are treated with chemical preservatives during the manufacturing process to repel termites and wood-boring beetles.
