The Ebco Normal Close Drawer Slide Channel is an industry-standard telescopic runner designed for everyday residential, commercial, and industrial cabinetry. Unlike self-closing or hydraulic soft-close variants, the normal close channel provides direct manual control—allowing users to open and close drawers smoothly at their preferred speed without damper resistance.
Engineered with high-tensile cold-rolled steel, the channel features a 3-tier slide construction that extends fully past the cabinet edge. The precision steel ball-bearing retainers distribute payload weight evenly across the track, preventing sagging or binding even under heavy utilization. Designed with standard side-mounting profiles, it integrates seamlessly into modular kitchen drawers, office file storage, wardrobe pull-outs, and workshop tool chests.
Warranty Coverage: Ebco offers a 1-Year Manufacturer Warranty against manufacturing defects, structural failures, or defective ball-bearing mechanisms under normal usage.
Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, overloading beyond rated capacity, improper side clearance, physical alteration, exposure to corrosive chemical cleaners, or general wear and tear.
Return & Replacement Policy:
Products can be returned or exchanged within 1 days of delivery if delivered damaged, defective, or in an incorrect size (subject to distributor/retailer terms).
Items returned must be unused, uninstalled, and packed in their original packaging complete with all mounting screws and instruction leaflets.
1. What is the difference between Normal Close and Soft Close drawer channels?
Normal Close channels operate purely on ball-bearing tracks without hydraulic dampeners or spring latches. They close as quickly or as slowly as you push them manually. Soft Close channels include a hydraulic damper mechanism that automatically catches the drawer in the final few inches and pulls it shut silently.
2. How much side clearance is needed for installation?
You need a standard gap of 12.7 mm (1/2 inch) on each side between the drawer outer wall and the cabinet inner wall.
3. How do I remove the drawer from the cabinet after installation?
Fully extend the drawer until it stops. Locate the small plastic release lever inside the middle member of the channel track, push the lever on both sides (one up, one down), and pull the drawer straight out.
4. Can these channels be used in kitchens or humid environments?
Yes. Ebco channels are treated with anti-corrosion zinc or electro-plated finishes to withstand ambient humidity in kitchens and bathrooms.
